Avon is a worldwide known brand for car tyres. The company was founded in 1904 by the two brothers Frank and Charles Sargent, in Melksham, England. Avon started out producing motorcycle tyres and later they also made tyres for cars and farm equipment. In the 1960s, Avon shifted their focus to producing tyres for use on a variety of vehicle types and racing conditions.
